Really good food had my best friend's birthday brunch there and it was truly amazing.The food was great the staff was friendly and hey.. the atmosphere was fantastic. Can't wait to go back and try a waffle or a omelet. Love the decor too.

Small menu (which I prefer), well made staples. Country potatoes are 👌 and I always trust a place who puts extra effort into the little things - like their homemade jams. Great classic breakfast.

The coffee was excellent and I tried the Monte Cristo and definitely loved it!! I only ended up eating half because it was so filling! The staff are very friendly and excellent and without a doubt enrich the warm diner atmosphere. I loved the fall decorations and feel this is a perfect breakfast spot. Definitely coming again

I came out to Redding for three days and fell in love with Trendy's day 1. We ate breakfast here all three days, ordered something different every day and was not disappointed once. If you are traveling through I would highly suggest Trendy's for breakfast or lunch. The wait staff is very accommodating and friendly.

This place used to be good. I ordered a honey hot sandwich thinking it would be sweet and spicy, but no spices whatsoever. I also ordered corned beef hash for $13 and only got a literal handful of food. What an absolute joke. I will never go again and would never recommend this place to anyone ever!

A nice local diner with yummy food. Their menu is basic but everything we ordered tasted good. The service is good and the staff was very attentive. Food is value for money.

My husband and I love this place. The family that runs this place is so down to earth. The quality of the traditional foods is outstanding, and they aim to please. Their pancakes are out of this world good. We make excuses to run to Redding regularly to go Trendy's.

Went to this place twice and both times just excellent food and service. Opted for breakfast and the Locomotive first and a tri-tip special the second, and both were very good. For an extra buck, add the fruit and you will not be disappointed.One thing I thought was interesting was their homemade jams and hot sauce. Had a pepper jam which really balanced the heat and sweet well. But what really impressed was their XXX hot sauce. Made by the husband of the owner, and featuring garden-grown peppers, this sauce did bring the heat. There is a lot of capsaicin in that bottle.If you have business with the courts or an appointment at one of the many medical facilities around it, stop in for a treat. They do close at 2 or so.

It's better than okay by 1/2 * on small restaurants that aren't geared for 1 motif or another..they are warm, charming.. The staff is terrific . The homemade choices that they have such as Chili's, pancakes different sandwiches and finer things on the menu.. It is very much worth it. ! I urge everyone to stop by and spend a little time at Trendys , it just might become Your thing ! : ))

So the orange juice. No, really, the orange juice. It must have been an amazing picking this year because the fresh squeezed oj was beyond amazing. I had to water it down.Quick to seat, great customer service all the way around. Friendly and inviting, warm and funny! the food! omg. ya. let's chat about that...I had sweet cream pancakes with strawberries, my daughter had buttermilk ones. there really is a difference! they wpere scrumptious. Daughter had hashbrowns and I had their country potatoes. There was so much food we took a lot home for lunchthe bacon was the thick kind. I am so use to the kind that you can see thru- the barely there bacon that has a hint of flavor, but these were just so thick and tasty, we actually couldn't eat very much.

Loved their food. Very high quality and super great service. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a new breakfast place to go. Is pricey, but you're paying for fresh food and high class service.

The real problem with this place is the lack of detail on the menu. Very easy to miss order they don't really seem to want to correct when taking your order. Which would explain the nickle and diming they do. A 20.00 breakfast becomes a 40.00 breakfast for 2. That being said the bacon was some of the best I've ever had. If you don't ask. They won't explain. :(

The food is phenomenal here. The garlic potatoes are the right amount of spice and not too greasy. The staff here is lovely and I really like the decor. Makes you feel like you've stepped back into the 40s.

This spot is worth a try. They serve large portions for fair prices. Consistently clean and with excellent atmosphere. Will come back again.

The food was good! Banana fosters oatmeal was delish. The Reuben was good! We got a pancake on the side that was pretty basic and unimpressive. However our other food was really good for the price. The service was good. It's a small place and a tight squeeze but I definitely want to try other menu items next time!

Clean, clean, clean! Red, black and white color scheme throughout the interior and not overly cluttered with decor. Friendly service and delicious food! My corned beef hash had the option of biscuits and gravy instead of toast! The large, fluffy biscuits with perfectly seasoned gravy were so filling that they were a meal by themselves! The portions of everything were very generous. The bottomless coffee was very good and not watered down. Multiple ladies checked on us, including after the food was brought out. The exterior, including the large parking lot, was litter-free and swept. The restaurant was packed and it seemed like many were regulars, a great sign of a successful eatery. My new favorite breakfast and lunch spot in Redding!

The new owners of Trendys have updated the menu and our breakfast was delicious. The portions are quite generous and the wait staff was friendly and made sure our coffee was always full. We will go back again.

I ordered some food from here this morning and became sick about an hour after eating only a small part of it. I’ve been throwing up and constantly nauseous all afternoon and had to call in sick for work. I immediately threw out all the leftovers :’( I’m really sad right now.

The burger had no taste, just a heavy 1/2 pounder. The fries were okay. I feel the place is over-rated.

This was the perfect place to grab breakfast before getting back on the road. The service was fast and friendly. The food was filling and delicious. Great little place!

My hubby and I came here for the first time to celebrate my birthday! ♥️ The food was great and so was the customer service! They also surprised me with a caramel pearl waffle with ice cream and whipped cream on top! 😋 Yummy! And it wasn't too sweet, but just right! We definitely will come here again!

The space is relatively small and if you are like me and get claustrophobic or are sensitive to loud conversations all around you then I suggest you do not go there during rush/busy times. Now for the Good The food is amazing...portions are huge... I order off the children's menu because it's way too much for me to eat I even still take leftovers home...their homemade preserves are amazing.
